Hello there,

Sorry to bother you. My Alpine CD player display's HIGH-TEMP when attempting to play CD's. I was told to look at these transistors for cold joints and this is what I found. Can you tell me please what is the best way for me to attempt repair of this? Should I heat up the existing solder and remove it and then add new or should I just try to add more solder? What is the best way to go about repairing these connections. I fear that the leads from the transistor are disintegrating and because these are so close together I am worrying about accidentally bridging them. Thank you so much for your help. I enjoyed reading your tutorials but could not find one to cover this exact scenario.

Thanks,

Jesse
