Tolerances in the parts used vary. Play with the capacitor value a bit up and down, as well as the resistor.

90 degrees is the normal movement for a servo.

The 555 in that mode is prone to variation with changes in the supply rail. Try fitting a 100 microfarad capacitor across the supply pins.

I think the timing resistors should be 10 times their value so that a 100nF 5% film timing capacitor can be used.
I agree that a supply bypass capacitor should be added.
