A very poor quality FM radio that uses only one transistor is called a Super-Regen and can be found in a search on Google.
It receives plenty of interference, it mixes sounds from a few stations together, it is not sensitive to distant stations and is overloaded by strong local stations. Its sound is distorted.

A very poor quality simple AM radio is a Crystal Radio.
