please i want you to explain in detail how to connect the circuit, that talks about using phone to put on a light while it is ringing, to the phone line. I don't know where this phone line is located in a phone, so practically, I want to know how to connect the capacitor & the diode,D3 to the phone line. Also, I want you to explain the 2N27 Opto Isolator in detail
Please, I want you to also explain for me in details how I can use my phone to switch on different applainces that are positioned far away from me. E.g I can stay in school and switch on/off an electric bulb in my house with the use of my phone. I wll love to see a circuit diagram for this. please, I need an urgent reply from you, thanks.

A phone line is only two wires, in North America the cord uses red and green. Look inside the phone and connect the light flasher to these two wires.
Look in Google for Opto Isolator.

To switch things far away with a phone then you will need a circuit that answers your call (and any other call), decodes your dialed touch-tones then activates a latching relay circuit to turn on or off your thing. It should be smart enough to hang up the call when you do.

Look in Google for Telephone Remote Control circuit.
