I recently inherited the above phone. I plug it in and it dials pulse instead of tone. I can't find where to change it or a reference in the manuals I have seen online. Could it be a line problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

The operating instructions for the phone will tell you how to program it to dial tones (also called touch-tone or DTMF) or pulses. You need to pay an extra monthly fee to the phone company to be able to use tones for dialing on the phone line.

The phone line I am using has tone for another phone. I haven't found the manual online yet-- will keep looking.

Thanks,

Mike
