No idea. This depends on your gear ratio and size of your drive wheels.

Can you reword this? As it is written, I can't figure out what you are trying to say.

Like general building tips? That's sort of hard to do without knowing anything about what you are trying to build.

If "blow the road" means stressing the parts to the point of breaking, I doubt you will have to worry if you take time to properly assemble and build the kart.

As for basic tips, Unless you want to invest in a differential, make the kart a 1 wheel drive unit. Trust me. It makes a big difference in the drivability of the kart.
Make sure your chain drive system is lined up practally perfect or you will be plauged with jumping chains.
If you plan for off roading, put a roll cage on it. Save your neck.

as orange knows (and knows from experience) the size of your engine, power, rpm, torque, flywheel, wahtever, wont limit your ideas. sure, you may be limited with money, or haven't the metal/welding materials to make a metal chassis, but mounting a gas motor on a wooden frame will need a HARD wood, not pine, but oak or plywood. 5hp? vertical shaft? horizontal shaft? i assume horizontal. so you'll need an axle, if not 3/4" -1" shank diam. bolts to mount to a frame. DO NOT skimp on anything. think your screws are strong? you'll find out when you snap the heads off from chassis stress. if they can mount 6 cylinders in a boat via wood

thats way off topic, yea.

you'll hit... around 20-25.
