Below is the random thought titled "Aaron Carter Fans Are The Dumbest People On Earth". Be aware that these thoughts may be based on opinion, and my opinion might not agree with yours. Now we all know that people are stupid. That's a given as the evidence is all around us. People suing McDonalds because they spill hot coffee on themselves, warnings printed on plastic bags not to put it over your head and antilock brakes are all signs that fundamentally, people are stupid. However, none so stupid as the fans of teenage pop singer Aaron Carter.
Since mid 2000, my website has been almost overrun by these brats. For some unknown reason, they have confused me with their idol. In a typical week I may receive up to 100 Aaron Carter fan emails. My guestbook will be signed multiple times by swooning teenage girls, and every once and a while there will even be a forum post or two. Frankly, I just don't understand it. My website has NOTHING at all to do with pop music. Nowhere do I claim to be or do anything that could confuse me with Aaron Carter. On almost every web form and the page that lists my email address, there are large notices that this is NOT the Aaron Carter website (some are even in the form of annoying popups). Surly, the fact that this website is about electronics, projects, inventions, Mazda RX-7s, spudguns and other technical pursuits with absolutely no content related to music would be a clue to these people that they have somehow stumbled upon the wrong website? Apparently, this is not the case. They seem to show stunning ignorance that they are in fact surfing AARONCAKE.NET instead of AARONCARTER.COM.

What a perfect example. I deleted this out of my guestbook on the weekend while I was also dealing with the spam. On the surface, it's almost comical. But let's nitpick it a little...
First, we see the typical spelling and punctuation errors. In all of this, I have learned that Aaron Carter fans cannot spell or form proper sentences. In this case, the person may have actually misspelled her own name as I have never seen "Heather" spelled as "Hether" before. Now her name may in fact be spelled like that, but I find it far more likely that she just omitted the "A". "Wonderfull" actually only has one "L". Common mistake, so we won't worry about it. I suppose "migthy" is actually "mighty", "invit" is "invite", "part" is apparently "party", "wont" is in fact "won't", "promis" is teenybopper for "promise", and so on and so forth. And what's with the "11" after "bad leg there was pain."?
Secondly, there's the random punctuation and sentence structure. Commas missing where needed, periods in odd places, and even the name of her idol has not been capitalized. Yet oddly movie titles and some sentences show proper capitalization.
Third, did you happen to notice that this person will be turning 18 on June 12th, according to her comment? This drivel came from the mouth of a 17 year old! Can you imagine what her highschool papers look like? One can only hope that they do not all read like this. A frightening thought indeed that we're talking about the equivalent of a 1st year University/College student. I've seen more literate writings from a 9 year old.
Fourth, there is the blatantly and bleedingly obvious fact that this is not the Aaron Carter website! Not only does the "Sign Guestbook" page display a popup informing you of this fact and thus requiring you to click "OK" to go further, but at the top of the page is boldly displayed "This is not the Aaron Carter guestbook. This should be obvious from the rest of my site. If you sign thinking it is, I will most likely make a sarcastic comment under your entry to prove to the entire world how stupid you really are. Please keep this in mind." Is there any way to be more straightforward? Perhaps an MP3 should play in the background with William Shatner rapping "Not, Aaron Carter, guestbook. No, this is not, the, Aaron Carter guestbook. Turn away, Carter fans, turn away..."? Would that be enough? The most depressing thing is that it probably wouldn't.
Fifth, it seems that all of these people are deluded to the point where they believe that Aaron Carter will have personal interest in them. In this example, Hether asks her obsession if he would like to go on a dat (sic) with her after she has turned 18. Well newsflash, Aaron Carter doesn't know you exist. He likely never will. And signing my guestbook probably won't change that fact either. Also from what I have seen, I doubt very much that he is interested in girls...
Finally, I bet that if I sent this kid an email explaining her error to her (and politely, I might add) she would reply with utter and complete confusion. When I do reply, this seems to be the case half the time. The other 50% actually continue to believe that I am their idol, and continue to reply as if actually talking to Aaron Carter!
I could go on, but I won't. My point has been made. These people will soon be growing up to be the peers and coworkers that will shape the world of tomorrow. The Earth is doomed.

The woman who sued mcdonalds because of the coffee, you would feel differently about that whole case if you would take the time to research it. The pictures will show you, how bad the burns were. The pictures of this woman’s injuries are astonishing. The coffee was so hot that it melted a hole/crater into her flesh. Her legs and lip area were melted. Way beyond some burns. It turned out the coffee was some insane temperature and it was totally not a case of stupidity. I mention this because I took a business law class and my professor started the semester off with that case. Before we got any details, all of us students began talking shit! Calling her a greedy scammer etc. Boy I sure wasn’t expecting to see what I saw when he showed us the pictures. That poor lady. She really was injured by a very negligent company to have the coffee hot enough to do that kind of damage. She was harassed so bad. Also, she only wanted her medical bills paid. People said she wanted big bankroll. Not true. If pain and suffering deserves payment, she really deserved payment. Look into it. Or not. But there’s the truth | ||

Aaron Carter is 19 and still dealing with puberty (you can tell by the way he acts and the weird sound of his voice). He still is special, though. I mean, you must be special when you're stuck in puberty for more than 6 years...! I'm from Norway and to most of us, Aaron Carter is this little blonde kid with his tounge hanging out on the cover of his CD. Others simply just don't even know who he is. I used to listen to him when I was 9, but that's about 10 years ago.
