Hello everyone. I have a problem and I hope someone can give some suggestions.

I have an old wallmount phone, with rotary dialing. My phone company (SBC) confirmed the line is supposed to also work with pulse dialing.

Unfortunately, when I dial using my rotary phone, it seems the line doesn't "hear" the pulses, and just doesn't do anything. For some reasons, if I dial just the number 1 (with the rotary) the line goes silent, probably waiting for the other pulses.

So, my question is: do you think there may be a problem with the timing of the pulses, or you may have some other suggestions to resolve my issue ?

Thanks so much
Paolo

If the line goes silent when you dial a "1", then it does hear the pulse and is waiting for more. Give it more pulses by dialing a whole phone number.
