Posted - Dec 20 2005 : 09:12:26 AM Often you can connect a neon bulb accross the phone line with a high value of series resistor. Phones ring at about 90-120V, which will light the bulb.
How about a simpler circuit that uses the phone power to light something...like an LED? When I go run on my treadmill on the patio, I have headphones on listening to radio or TV. There is a phone plug nearby...no extra 110V. I'd just like to see something like an LED flash with the ring. Is there such a simple circuit using the phone company's power? Thanks, Brad
