ok..i found a large crack in the part that goes between the filler neck and the coolant cap..its black and has two screws that attach it to the filler neck. i am aware that this piece is sold on mazdatrix.com but DAMN its an expensive one. i was wondering if anyone is willing to "donate" one or sell me one for WAY cheaper..thanks :)

I know the part you speak of. But alas, I don't have one on hand.

I know that I can get one from the local wrecking yard, but all of them are out of my way and I rarely go these days since I have a garage full of parts. If I happen to be there soon, I will pick one up, but don't count on me. As I said, I have not been to a wreckers for months.

It's sad, but around here there are many RX-7s with good drivetrains hanging around the wrecking yards. The bodies rust out long before the rest of the car goes bad.

There aren't any TIIs.

TIIs are very rare around here.
