cirvin was complaining about me not posting, so here i go. i've been working on a 2-stroke minibike, (100cc) 1: 24" mountain bike using a 50t rear sprocket, 9t sprocket on a jackshaft that holds a 4" pulley (made to run 5/8" to 3/8" belts, i'm running 1/2", which gives me a 3" pulley) connected by belt to the motor, which is mounted to the bottom frame main tube by means of plate and bolt (will get a link for pictures later) so i have a form of a clutch. motor is out of a Jacobsen snow thrower, motor made by tecumseh [ has a 2" pulley on the end for 1/2" belt ] (pullstart, 4.5hp @4500rpm, i'm doing 6500rpm so i figure around 6hp), 20" rear tire. thumb throttle, hand brake, still haven't got the clutch done yet, (it'll consist of a bushed or bearing pulley and a l-bracket, foot lever). standard seat, i can't find the equation to figure out speed, if anyone can get me the equation, or figure it out (23" tire at 5000prm) i'll greatly appreciate it. thanks, and ... ... thanks.
