Posted - Aug 16 2010 : 10:54:59 AM Hi, I'm quite new in electronics, but I wanted to try this circuit anyway. I used a 1N60 Diode, but I was wondering if the diode in the circuit is placed correctly. And also, I see +9V, but where should I place the -?
Thank you very much |

The circuit can use any germanium diode. The diode is shown correct for an AM detector diode.

It connects to the circuit's ground.
The frequency is very high so it will not work if you make it on a breadboard. |
