Hi, I would like to know how to simulate a dial tone.
I would like to be able to plug this device into the jack on the phone and have a dial tone on the phone even though it is not hooked up to a phone line.
Would anyone have any schematics or site links or anything that could help me out?
Thanks in advance

(Edit...Moved from Announcements to Telephone...)

I believe the device you are looking for is called a "grey box". Google should turn it up.
