The light for when no one is on the one is kindra jumpy, I'm guessing this is because of the voltage form the telephone company changing so randomly, but is there a way to fic this, by putting a capacitor, ETC?

I checked my transitor's, both are bad ?????? It weird, I had the resitor's, ETC on it. Hmmm, damn. Another question does the transitor letting power flow from the emitter to collecter, without a base voltage present, like it allows it to flow to the collector, from the emitter, but I dont even have a wire going to my base, mean it's broken. It's a NPN, so you have to atleast have .667 volt's, for actiation?

Start by testing both transistors.

You may need to play with resistor values a little, depending on your phone line.

OK,lol another problem, both of my LED's turn on now lol, instead of one.

I fugured it out. It was becuase the led for the one when someone is talking wasnt soldered all the way. I dislike this circuit because the led's, act as a sort of resitor/energy burner. I dont know after all what the hell I am talking about, lol. I just wish I had like a resitor for each transitor, and a SEPERAte resitor for the LED. I see how this circuit, cancells out a few componets, that other wise you would need, but for someone trying to under stand it a a very newb like level, it suck's. But, it's a good circuit to use, when your sister is on the phone 24/7, and you get in trouble for pcking up the phone while she's on. That is if you have a old crappy phone that doesnt have a phone usage circuit already built in, like me :)
