I was going to build an electric scooter a while ago, but my scooter was syolen. I found another mini scooter the other day and want to start over and was wondering which motor to use from this list. http://www.meci.com/default.asp?mode=getitems&category=211

None of the motors from MECCI are suitable. They are all way to small.

The 2nd one you list looks a lot more suitable, but is physically pretty big (5" by 9"). If you are happy with that size, and can carry enough batteries to run it at 36V, then go for it. The price is right!

Is this motor too big for a mini scooter
