did both come on the s4 and how can I manually control them to open up to my settings?

I ask because I wish to build (in near future) a mild street port with smog passing abilities and hit the 200+hp area, flywheel or wheel. I have been reading kahreen on the seven forum and his builds so it makes me want to build something of my own. I figured port match the primaries to secondaries and rotarygod(from rx7club) suggested some cleaning up and tiny tiny bit of early opening and later closing to the aux. I then want to run a Rtek7 2.0 with stock injectors and manage my settings to the fuel, air and timing. I also plan on using the factory manifold with port matching to intake runners and also being able to activate the aux actuators and VDI on my own settings, hence reason for original question. I'm not too fab savvy to make my own header, so until I am, or make it a project with a buddy, I plan to use RB headers and Pre silencer (High flow cat for smog) and custom dolphin tail cat back.

any info on original question would be much appreciated, and of course any input/opinions on my future project would be awesome too! :D

The air pump is always blowing air so directly powering the ports would keep them open. Thus the need for an RPM switch to control a solenoid.

so to activate the actuators i'll have to wire a RPM switch to a solenoid that Ts off the air pump or run the air pump directly so when the solenoid activates it opens up the aux ports?

All NA 2nd gens used the 6 port intake system, and thus have aux ports and actuators. Only S5 NAs have VDI.

I don't think the RTek has any spare outputs, so you will need to use an RPM switch (you can get these from Summit Racing) to activate a solenoid, which will provide air pump air to run the actuators. Aux ports open at around 3800 RPM, VDI at around 5500 RPM.
