I have temporarily disabled all forum email functions.

As of Friday, my ISP has begun blocking outgoing port 25, so sending mail using any server but their own is impossible. I can't use their server, since they require SMTP authentication and nothing that I use actually supports it. They have blocked outgoing port 25 on both residential and business class accounts. Not only is this going to piss off a lot of people (I've already logged my angry tech support call), but it's a total violation of my rights to a "free" Internet.

I am currently waiting for a call from their "tier 2" support on what can be done to solve the problem. If the block can just be turned off, then problem solved. If not, then I have a workaround I can set up while I look for a new ISP.
