im thinking of building a sinker gun, for those who do not know what a sinker is, it is like the ballbaring type thing that fishermen use on thier rods...anyway, so i MIGHT build a sinkergun but only and i mean only for distance... one thing..would it be way too dangerous for me? eg. could the pvs just explode and the sinker hit me, could it backfire easier?
anway, so i would like to build one, but i want to be sure that it is as safe and a normal combustion spud gun.
the sinkergun would be combustion, is this safe? im just worried becasue i would be shooting metal or lead or whatever they are made out of. not just a tennis ball or a spud. u get what i mean? so please answer my questions, thanx! |

how large is the sinker? my experience says they are likne 1/4 of an inch at the largest. a combustion gun wold work, but since it needs more power to fire, the pvc would be put under alot of stress. personally, i would use a pneumatic setup, but yu could use combustion. justr stand a good distance away.
