Hi all,
I have a PVC spudgun and have been unsucessful in trying to get a durable finish. I have used gloss black aersol spray paint on the lightly sanded pvc but it chips right off. I have heard about something called Gel Coat designed to seal in the paint but i have had no success finding it. Should I use a primer? different spray paint? ? Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Any paint will chip, but Fusion bonds to the plastic itself, so it's fairly chip resistant.
