Hey, i got a 30cc string trimmer motor. I wanna mount it onto a bike but heres the problem : the motor has a coil with a squared butt on either end that spins and there for spins the cutting edge...Whats the name of a part (if one exists) that would fit onto the motor and allow me to runn a gear off it instead of the coil?? |

Uh, you're going to have to be more descriptive, or post a picture. |

Any thing is posible but 20~50CC wont get your wood go kart moving fast heer are some pictures of ones that I own/have built the first one is a old push bike that I welded a lawn mower motor on to you simply push start it and hang on top speed was about 40kmh but it liked chugging up hills like a tractor or a honda xl250 hah second image is a close up of the motor on the bike and my milo tank. 3rd and 4th pic are of my 110cc go kart with 4 speed semi auto and high and low range. This thing is fast and the most fun I've ever had on a gokart I just gota keep the paint up to it I was riding it on the beach and smashed it in to the water
The last pic is of my first gokart had a 80cc 2stroke generator motor on it direct drive basicaly get in hold on for your life and get some one to push start you, What it really needes is breaks or at least a kill switch this cart was verry fast.

This will be difficult to do without welding.
Do you want to also be able to still pedal the bike, or just run it with the engine? |
