hello, and thank you for time.

I want to how do you check the Voltage Regulator with multimeter to check if is dead or good working order..

I see them alot in laptops and dvd etc...

Every one is going to be different. On a basic level, look up the spec for the regulator, measure the input voltage, then check the output voltage and make sure it matches the spec. Switching supplies, which are very common nowadays, are a little more complicated.
