Hi Maria, Hey, you're a girl. Welcome. My 486 Compaq lasted more than 10 years with its original clock/bios battery. I would still be using it today on high-speed cable internet if the hard-drive I upgraded it to didn't fail. Maybe I'll re-install its original hard-drive and let it continue running for another 10 years. My new (since Christmas) Gateway computer has good spec's and works fine. Due to Boxing day sales and a million rebates, its cost was very low. A real bargain.
This is a failed attempt at spam. The user has posted before, attempting to link to a website selling computer parts. They don't seem to grasp the basics of what they are trying to do, so the link never shows up. Kind of sad, in a funny sort of way.
