I am working on my old pioneer rx-1191 again. I have problems with the tuner section not working. the inputs all work, it goes from one frequency to the next, and plays intermittently (hasn't played any lately) . When it cuts out the stereo light goes off. I was poking around and found a electrolytic cap the when the top metal piece is touched it causes a 60hz buzz/hum. Could this be a bad cap? Also, does anyone have a service manual for this stereo?
Thanks,
Kyle

That would be a good place to start. Replace the capacitor, then examine the area around it for broken traces or cold solder joints.
