Goodmorning, i've a problem with my Bluetooth Car Kit.
What I need is to connect this with my car sinto-cd.
The problem is that the sinto-cd need a mute\ground signal that my Bluetooth Car Kit have not.
When I receive a call, my Bluetooth Car Kit begin to connect internal speaker and
an analogue signal is present in the speaker since is ringing to the end of call.
So, I've thinking to connect a circuit to the speaker that can control a relais when
an analogue signal is present on it.
I think the speaker is 1 Watt or less and however is similar to some portable radio, (I'dont know
electrical specification).
Can someone help me with electrical schema ?

Thank's in advance

Stefano

Look at the Video Activated Relay on the circuits page. Your design may be similar.

If I was doing this, I would feed the speaker output to a comparator and then use it's output to drive a timer circuit (555 timer). The timer would have a short interval like 3 seconds and it's output would hold the relay for the mute signal. When no signal is detected by the comparator for more then 3 seconds the relay drops out and the mute is ungrounded.
