Hy everyone.
I just came across a box in the house we bought a couple of months ago. The inside was pretty interesting: there were 6 Nortel intercom phone, with 3 lines, and a whole lot of functions. And even more cool: They all work! Jack-pot.
I was wondering if anyone has any info on how i could build a home phone line kinda thing. (I'm not exactly sure what the correct term are). I'll try to explain what i want. Basically I want to use the second line on these phones as my own home line to make intercom like calls between my basement office, my garage and my living room. Any ideas on how i could do this? I would pull another phone line to all 3 locations but i know i need something else for this to work.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you need a PBX, a private telephone exchange.

This looks relevant.
