Hi all, just for very basic electronic components soldering.
I bought one from Sears. And the tip broke!!
Now, I need to buy a new one. Any suggestion?
Or, cheap but solid solder station?

For most basic electronics work, I use a 40W iron I purchased from my local electronics store. It's made by ECG but is the same as many made in China irons I've seen.

Buy a brand name like Weller and you are probably fine. Just never buy the bottom of the line, always from the middle.

Make sure to tin your tip properly.
