Even if it was going to hit Earth, I'm sure someone will blow it up. That's what Nuclear bombs should be used for. Deffensive, not offensive.

We need to think when blowing stuff like this up though. If we blow it up, we must achieve complete destruction otherwise we could have several big rocks heading our way instead of one huge one.

Probably the best choice is deflection.
