For my transmission in my AE92, I Really have to rev it up to get it to move. Sometimes i have to put tranny fluid in it. But i think the fluid is just down at the bottom. who knows? Let me know the problem and how i can fix it. Sometimes you can hear it rev up when you are pressing on the gas and just going down the highway.

(Edit...Move to Vehicles)

If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over?

I don't know much about automatics (having never owned one and no plans to correct that) but it seems to me like there is a fluid leak. The transmission ran low and has damaged the fluid pump, torque converter or clutch packs. But that's just a guess.

That's odd the Insight doesn't come with an Automatic. According to Wikipedia.

The Insight was sold from 2000 - 2004 with a 5 speed manual only. From 2004 - 2006, a CVT was available. But it isn't much like a conventional automatic.

WikiPedia isn't a reliable source of information.

Wikipedia isa pretty reliable source so far, I have found a few errors so far though. Mostly because it is written by everyone. Not a select few. Verizon is annoying.
