RC models normally use low frequency PWM for driving servos and for driving motor speed control circuits with higher frequency PWM. The motor speed control for my new electric model airplanes whines with a PWM frequency of about 1800Hz.
But the RF controller i have doesn't have any PWM. it simply drives two DC motors forward and backward. so i was asking if somehow i can implement PWM to speed control these DC motors...??
Modify the transmitter to send PWM bursts to the car where the modulation quantity comes from the potentiometers for the required directions like forwards and backwards. This may or may not work and you will probably need to have a very low PWM frequency as the receiver might introduce some form of delay, similar to de-bounce on digital push buttons.

You have a very simple and cheap on-off radio control system. You must modify the transmitter and receiver so they can use PWM for speed control. But very cheap circuits do not have a service manual available for you to see the schematic, parts layout and parts list.
Yes u r right it is a simple on off rdio system..cn u give guidance to modify it for PWM.. basically i wanted simple PWM over radio system.so if possible pls provide me with the right tutorial for a DIY version..
You do not have the service manual so how can you modify the cheap circuit? PWM is not simple. You need to modulate the transmitter somehow and demodulate at the receiver somehow.
My 4-channels PWM transmitter costs $32.00. It operates at 2.4GHz and automatically scans and selects a radio frequency without interference. The 4-channels receiver with PWM motor speed control is also inexpensive.
I buy RC models and parts from www.hobbyhobby.com in Canada. The ParkZone brand of RC airplanes have the assembled transmitter and receiver circuits as parts.
