Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 12:42:35 PM For my transmission in my AE92, I Really have to rev it up to get it to move. Sometimes i have to put tranny fluid in it. But i think the fluid is just down at the bottom. who knows? Let me know the problem and how i can fix it. Sometimes you can hear it rev up when you are pressing on the gas and just going down the highway.

Wikipedia isa pretty reliable source so far, I have found a few errors so far though. Mostly because it is written by everyone. Not a select few. Verizon is annoying. |

Posted - Sep 27 2009 : 10:32:14 AM The Insight was sold from 2000 - 2004 with a 5 speed manual only. From 2004 - 2006, a CVT was available. But it isn't much like a conventional automatic.

That's odd the Insight doesn't come with an Automatic. According to Wikipedia. |

Posted - Sep 19 2009 : 11:01:55 AM I don't know much about automatics (having never owned one and no plans to correct that) but it seems to me like there is a fluid leak. The transmission ran low and has damaged the fluid pump, torque converter or clutch packs. But that's just a guess. |
