Hey guys I was reading the page with Aaron's gokart and it inspired me to make my own. A couple questions though, where could I find a cheap/used clutch and a horizontal shaft engine. I don't want to spend much money on this. Any links with ideas or designs would be really helpful. Oh and I can't weld either so thats a problem... Last question, how exactly did you attach the rear wheel on your kart?

The rear wheel was attached with two angle irons. I drilled a hole through each vertical section and slipped the wheel through.

Finding a horizontal shaft engine for free is difficult. Your best bet is to visit a local scrap metal dealer where you can buy metal by the pound. Then buy as many engines as you can find.
