Okay I built your econo spud gun months ago then just got it working,
I love it but even with 9 acres of land the boom is loud as a gun so I would like to make it so I do not get asked by the neighbors to quite it down. Any help would be awsome,
Thanks,
Joshua

To make a silencer, you need two pieces of pipe. One for the barrel, one for the outer enclosure. If the inner pipe is 2", the outer should be 4". Drill a tonne of holes in the inner pipe and then place it inside the outer pipe. Fill the area between them with flameproof fiberglass insulation. Then cap both ends leaving the inner pipe available to attach to your barrel.

Okay I did what you said but did not use an outside pipe or insulation it worked but I am going to do what you said as soon a possible. My barrel is a 1.5 inch so I will just get 2 inch pipe,I think I am covered on this one,
thanks for the help. I am working on another "Mini Mini"spud gun so if it works I will supply some specs
