Working on a project that needs a 3 watt 12 vdc 27 MHz transmitter signal. I don't need a receiver circuit. Can anyone provide me with a simple diagram on how to build this or a manufacture that I can purchase one from?

I Googled "27mhz transmitter schematic" and this was the first hit:
http://www.electroschematics.com/109/27mhz-fm-narrow-band-transmitter/

There were many more listed so it's a popular item. CB band I believe, so that explains why.

Thank you for the reply.

Received a 50 watt amp today for my project. The specs say it is for a frequency between 28 to 30 MHz (RMKL 60). Maximum frequency on cb is 27.991. Will this mis-match lower the efficency output of the amp?

P.S. This project is not for broadcasting.

Thanks.
