Ok i have an old fashioned telephon (ok not that old but still) http://www.utap.org/images/ telephone.jpg" border=0>. And i scrapped the handset for another project... but it still has the keypad that i ripped out. It has an IC i know nothing about on it (T2559E) a oscilator f bunch of diodes and resistors a couple capacitors and a few transistors (maby) voltage regulators. Also it has seven wires coming from it labled GN E2 R C RR F and L2. Can anyone provide me with pinouts for this or a circuit so i can hook it up to a speak to listen to the tones generated (so i can practice http://michaelv.org/ideas/songs.php) Also i can scan it if you want me to
Awesome thanks. The greybox wasnt quite what i was looking for but it did lead me to a list of boxes with discripitons and also a dabase of how to build a bunch of them... From the list i noticed the white box and on the database i found instructions to make it. I read over them and they were spot on with what i have wire colors and all. Also i just happened to have a 1000 ohm to 8 ohm transformer (which i was from a previously unused project) and the plans are http://www.phreak.org/archives/phreak/boxes/white001.box don't worry the white box is completely legal unless you convert it into another type. Thanks again
