Hi, I just bought a 350 watt 36 volt motor off of ebay to replace a 300 watt 24 volt motor that my e-scooter came with. my question is whether its a good idea to add a 6V 12 AH or a 12V battery along with the new motor. Also, would i need to replace the controller when I add the 6v/12v battery or not? The scooter's pretty cheap so i think it would be a good idea but I don't want to if i don't need to. If i do need a new controller, tell me if you have any cheap sources for them. Also, how hard would it be to wire in a turbo switch for the additional battery, if i were to add one? sorry i know its alot of questions all at once but your advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.
