I'm getting close to finishing my scooter (see "scooter project"), but I ran into a major problem; my razor battery charger has a 3-prong female adapter, but my battery (razor) has a stantard white connector with 2 tabs. Normally I guess you would charge the battery through the controller, but the controller is a universal one, and doesn't have a matching connector for the charger. On top of all that, the controller has a connector meant for the battery, it doesn't match up with the battery. I know this kind of confusing, so I took some pictures but they're kinda blurry:

I anyone has any Ideas on how to fix this please let me know. I can always take it to my local hobby shop and have some stuff soldered, but that will cost around 20 bucks and I've already spent a ton of money on this project.

I'm not familiar with that charger and can't seem to find much online.

Some better pictures will help greatly, of the controller, battery and charger (with connectors).

However, most of the controllers I have seen are basically the same. There will be a two pin connector for the battery. If it doesn't match your battery, just change them to match. Often one of them is a standard quick connect "spade" connector so you can just cut off the weird one and crimp on spades.

I'd suggest connecting the charger to the controller. With the part number from you controller and a good picture I should be able to find the pinout. Now, that 3 pin XLR is the mystery. I can't seem to find a diagram. The good news is that only 2 wires will likely be in use, and that by opening the connector you will likely find one that is red, and one that is black. Hookup at that point is straightforward.

Here is a link to the charger I have and the website I got it from: http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/ramxeldibipa.html
and here's the controller:

I found some screws on the charger connector, but even after I unscrewed everything the cord did not want to come out. I would cut it, but I'm afraid I might damage it beyond repair.

As for the battery connectors, I can easily pull off the connector.
I'll probably end up getting the rest of it soldered, but since the battery isn't a problem any more it shouldn't cost as much.

I took my stuff to my local hobby shop and yesterday I picked it up. Everything matches and now this project can be finished up. Aside from painting and adding a seat, this thing is finished. I'm going to be out of town all next week, so the projected completion date is August 3rd.
